Owen Family Update - Week of June 7th, 2021

 Hello Owen Families,

It was a beautiful weekend and we hope you had some downtime with the family.  Staff are busy working hard doing last minute marking and working on report cards.

In the wake of the tragic discovery of the unmarked graves of 215 Indigenous children at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia, our hearts are heavy and we stand together with all Indigenous leaders, families, students, and communities and collectively mourn.

In Honour of the Truth and Reconciliation Call For Action, we ask all students, staff and parents  to wear orange or wear an orange ribbon, in respect of these lives lost to show that we are all committed to reconciliation and action.

This Monday June 7, 2021 will be Orange Shirt Day @Owen PS
