Reminder that our school photo day is on Wednesday, September 25th.

New Teacher Allocation
The TDSB has allocated an extra teacher for the English Primary Grades.  As we will restructure our English Gr 3 and 4 classes, timetables will slightly change and we will be opening a new Grade 3 classroom.  Our Grade 3/4 class will also convert to a Grade 4 class to balance the numbers in Grade 4.

Students will meet their new teacher on Monday and the new classes will begin on Tuesday just in time for class photos.  An email will go out from Ms. Rosenbloom to those parents whose students will be changing classrooms.  Please have discussions with your child as we want to ease the transition for all students.

After School Pick Up
We are trying to reduce the number of early pick ups in the office each day. Please pick up students either before 2:45pm from the office or at the exit doors at 3:15pm. This will maximize our instructional time and reduce traffic in the office at the end of the day. Thanks for your support!

We have many students here at Owen with severe anaphylactic reactions to nuts, particularly peanuts and walnuts, but include all other kinds. Please be aware when packing snacks and lunches that nuts are not included and examine products like granola bars to ensure they are nut free. Also please discuss with your child the importance of not sharing food with others at school as this poses a serious health risk to some students.
