Halloween Next Week!
On Thursday, October 31st, we will be
celebrating Halloween at Owen! Your child's teacher will be in touch with specifics around class events and times. For those who do not celebrate Halloween we encourage you to communicate this to the classroom teacher to ensure that appropriate inclusive activities are in place for Thursday.
While students are welcome
to wear their costumes to school, please ensure that your child’s
costume is free from any kind of weapons and remember that vision-hindering masks can be a safety hazard. Please also consider whether your child’s costume
may pose any difficulty with navigating the bathroom.
Having trouble? Search for Team 206664.

Hey Owen Community,
The Eco club would like to encourage you to complete the City of Toronto’s Plastic Survey. If you wonder what the survey is about, it is a survey to see if we will ban or put a fee on single use plastic. Why should we do this survey? If we continue to use single use plastics our environment can eventually be polluted. How? The chemicals in the plastics can leak out and pollute our environment. Then eventually it will leak into our trees and grass.
Do the survey ! We want everyone including students to complete the survey. Click here for the link
Thanks,
Eco club

Families,
We are
happy to say that our first School Spirit Day was a success!
Many people
were wearing Raptors clothing, and even more people wore red, black, white and
purple.
We took
some amazing photos.
Thank you
to everyone who helped make this School Spirit Day a success.
