Hello Owen Families,
We would like to share great news about our newest Owen family member. We would like to introduce Anthony Giorgio Antoniou, son of Ms Myria Antoniou!
Louis Riel Day - Monday November 16th 2020
November is Indigenous Education Month. See what some of our students have been learning in class. If you have photos or stories you'd like to share with the Owen community please send them to Ms Rosenbloom or Mr Parkes. We've love to share some of your family traditions.
For more Louis Riel Day activities, please go to www.metisnation.org.
Thank you everyone for helping us keep our students safe. Since we've had our green little Owen students flagging our crosswalk on Gordon Drive, cars have been parked farther west. We did have someone move one off the road and onto the grass. DO NOT TAKE THESE OFF THE ROAD. They are there for a purpose and to prevent parents from parking close to the crosswalk. Please let parents know if you see them park on the crosswalk or move one of our green little Owen Students.
Report cards will be going home on Thursday and interviews are being scheduled with individual teachers. We value the communication between parents and staff and hope these interviews give you insight into your child's learning. All interviews will take place either by phone or through video. Teachers cannot conduct any in person interviews inside the school.
Daily Health App - Trouble logging out to sign in to another sibling's account
Service Now is continuing to fix bugs in their app. There is a fix to the logging out of a student to get into their sibling's account issue. You need to clear the cache and history on the phone before you can log into the other child. Here is a link on how to do this. support.apple.comLearn how to delete your history, cookies, and cache in Settings.
Parents can also use the web version to do the health assessment every morning. https://tdsb.service-now.com/tswp (web based) if that is also easier.________________________________
